Dear Doris

We had a very sunny day for eliction & people turned out in big numbers. hall was crowded. Mrs Barry said. its cool but very sunny. I have just given the little dog a big bone wasn't he happy! he comes over every day after something we dont have much meat but when we do I give him the leavings & bones are what he loves.
I think the attic man is good to him as he always runs to meet him. The Gravenstein tree was twice as tall as you were & Mr. Turner wired it in good shape & put it where the other one was on the Trollop side. he said there was life in the other one. so he very carefully dug it up & set it out over where I used to have my tomatoes it may live.
