[[obverse image]] the rectangle seal in the middle has 12 characters, which says '東三省官銀號監理官之關防' (seal of the 3 eastern provinces bank supervisor), the characters are arranged from top to bottom them right to left in 3 columns, the first column '東三省官' ('the eastern 3 provinces', usually means the Manchuria region, and 'official'), the second column '銀號監理' ('bank' and first 2/3 of 'supervisor'), third column '官之關防' (last 1/3 of 'supervisor and 'seal of'). left square seal：has 4 characters, arranged from top to bottom them right to left, first column (on the right) says '總理' (manager), second column says '之印' (seal of) right square seal：has 4 characters, arranged from top to bottom them right to left, first column (on the right) says '殖邊', （territorial development）, second column says '銀行'（bank）. The repeating pattern between central picture and outer frame consisits of '殖邊銀行' '拾圓' 'ten' '10'.
