Note: about the Obverse Text Zhang Jia Kou (張家口) is more commonly known in the West as Kalgan. This is likely the Russian word on the reverse side of the banknote. Kalgan is a name derived from the Mongolian name for 張家口. Note: about the Reverse text "КалгаНъ" is Russian. [[Obverse image]] The picture in the center is the Summer Palace in Beijing. The lake in the picture is Lake Kunming (昆明湖), and the hill is called Longevity Hill (萬壽山).
