Sir,
Can you give me any information in relation a colored man named Geo. A. Brown who is said to have been teaching a Freedmens school at Halifax some time in June or July 1867. I take the liberty of writing to you as I know of no one who would be more likely to know than yourself. You will oblige me by as early reply as convenient.
