Lieut Jno M. Foote
V.R.C. and A.S.A.C.

Sir
Referring to your endorsement of the 29th ultimo in relation to rent of ground upon which Gov't buildings are located. I would respectfully inquire if an allowance for rent to owners of property in question will hasten the sale of the buildings.
Any such proposition if completed at a monthly rate should close at the date of the original offer.
Claims for rent for the [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] buildings since accrued, cannot be considered.

Very Respectfully
Your Obt Svt
