Rose Marie Campbell and Donal Bender Are Engaged to Wed

MR. AND MRS. RICHARD F. GEIDE of 35 Fenton Avenue, Hillcrest, announce the engagement of Miss Rose Marie Campbell, daughter of Mrs. Geide and the late Floyd A. Campbell to Donald H. Bender, U.S. Merchant Marine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie L. Bender of Flushing, L.I., formerly of Lansdowne, Pa.

Miss Campbell is a graduate of Binghamton Central High School, Elmira College and the Guggenheim School of Aeronautics, New York University. In college she was president of Chi Upsilon Zeta Mathematics Club and a member of the French, Press and Glee Clubs. She is now employed in the engineering department of the Chance Vought Aircraft Corp., in Stratford, Conn.

Mr. Bender was graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the class of '42. His is a member of Phi Epsilon Phi Fraternity, Troy Filers and Pi Tau Sigma, national honorary mechanical engineering society. He is now serving with the merchant marine.
