Praises Pilot For Kindness To Invalid Son

Editor, Gazette-Mail:

I have been reading in the Gazette-Mail about Mrs. Evelyn Bryan, Morristown Jefferson City pilot receiving the bronze medal for heroism, and if I could, I would like to give her a medal for being just plain good but all I can do is just say a few words of thanks to a wonderful person for not many people with her busy schedule would take time out to take a boy like ours riding in her own plane.

For you see Bobby is a victim of muscular dystrophy. Most folks have no time for people like Bobby. Mrs. Bryan found out how much Bobby loves planes and so she gave him his first ride and several rides since. It means so much to him to go to the Morristown airport and watch her train her students.

She won't take money and hardly any thanks, but just the same she is more than just a hero to us. Thank you.
