Dear Doris

I am glad this Sunday is pleasant, weather is cold below 40° people seem to go to church Mr Reynolds is just driven away from here with Mrs Barry. last Friday night he came to the church, they were having a fair & she was coming right home after the supper as she didnt care to come all the way home after dark. so she hired a taxie to bring her home. she hadn't been gone 10 minutes, when Frank Reynolds came after her. drove down on purpose from his home. wasn't it nice of him?

The bundle and check both came safe the last of the week brought the bundle. I am working on it up in the front chamber daily little at a time its so long since I did anything of the sort little things bother me some. guess I must be growing old dont you think?

Dolores sent me a nice letter it came very unexpected she is taking dancing lessons also playing lessons. I guess if she keeps on she may get her man to answer her letters. it takes Doris to get young men today, they seem to keep after her. glad she is finding a little chance to teach. seems to be quite busy.

Mrs Barry has called up Myrtle Gilcher to thank her for the nice jug of cider they sent us Thursday & to invite her to attend Chicetaubut meeting this week as her guest, she was very much pleased & said she would be glad to go & would love to join
