Dear Doris This is a lovely day. Just a week since you started back it seems much longer. Hope by now you have found your glasses & fountain pen. I am sure they were not left in this house for I have hunted every where, even in the little building. You might have left them in Cambridge the day you had so much to do. they must be in some of your things you took home. Hope you run across them some time soon. I Hope Doris has been lucky to strike some thing by now & can be with you this winter while working. for I know how you people have missed her all this long time she has been in Cambridge studying.
Ma.
