POST CARD CHARLES SKILTON'S SERIES [[image - English postage stamp, 2D]] [[postmark]] LONDON.S.W.1. 9 - AM 17 AUG 1950 D [[/postmark]] Brit. Mus. 16 Aug 1950 Dear Ma: I have just come in from lunch & bought a few cards on the way. This is the street I have just come up, - around the corner where the arrow points is where we stay. From where the picture is taken is the Brit. Museum. It is a fine crisp day after the storm. I have been getting ration coupons to last the rest of our stay up at Kensington. Tonight Sid & I are going out to see the folks of the English girl who lives next door to us in Virginia. We will ride out on top of a bus such as you see in this picture, - it is a double decker and you feel up very high on top but can see the country better. I can't see you or Mrs B. going up & down the stairs in it tho! Doris Mrs A L. Holmes 290 Walnut St Stoughton Mass U.S.A
