Dear Doris It is cool in the 60° early but will warm up so the porch will be warm enough to sit out on. I was sitting out there yesterday when some one came running up from their car & who should it be but Lena. she had come so sudden & unexpected that I didnt know her at first, she has grown awful thin, seemed to be in a hurry. didnt stay hardly a minute. Amos Holmes widow has her tenements she occupied at Mrs Leggs. Did you get my last letter & hope it was directed right. We got another letter from Dolores the first of this week. she is coming around the 29 of this month. & wonders if you will come back here about then. the poor girl doesn't get too easy a life & hope the young man is a good one he will show her around Boston daytimes & she will come here nights. Mrs Barrys nee bothers her still & think when she has to be on her feet it pains her dreadfully I guess it takes her a long time before she gets over it. there are lots of accidents these days at home & abroad. they say Maude has embraced a new religion Spiritualism. I dont wonder at it she is all alone if she can feel that her family are around her who can blame her & well I hope to see you soon am glad you are having a good time also young Doris is enjoying it also love to you both Ma
