very dirty, these folks are just the opposite. she has had the floors all scoured & now they are varnished. none of their furniture have they brought here yet except a small table & chairs. they papered the rooms down stairs. I have not been up stairs. a longtime before they will get settled. we are living light this hot weather too hot to make up the fire in the stove also too hot to eat. Love Ma

Dear Doris. Thanks be its a little cooler to day and I can take little comfort sitting out on the porch where its lovely air without any sun 80º though we are in hopes there may be showers to cool us off & wet down the parched ground. we had the promise of thunder showers during the night but they didnt come here.
