I have just been out to pick a boquet [[bouquet]] of daffies they look so pretty in the house. my yellow tulips under the spice bush are blossoming they are full of buds & those that Doris set out are coming along. forcythias [[forsythias]] are every where in full bloom, all around the house. I suppose down where you are they have gone bye but we have had a colder spring. the lilacks [[lilacs]] up here are leaving out, some are budded. trees are just started leafing also. rose bushes will be late owing to so much cold weather every thing is later than common this year. but it will soon be more seasonable.
