its clouding up again another rain is coming we may have a thunder shower to clear us off the same as we did a week ago not near us though. Our fire in the kitchen range is going much better since we had the kindlings from Belchers factory. they are good and dry, our coal still hangs out and I am glad. soon I hope it will be cheaper $25 a ton now. I expected the kindlings would be higher all he asked was fifty cents & they will last quite a long time. so you won't have to worry over wood now thanks be.

Dear Doris. We are having April showers today not very cold 40° this morning early. We have had quite a lot of rain lately it has stopped the woods fires, they have been going constantly. one in particular they could not get the best of, the rain put it out.

Alice Woods came up to bring Mrs Churchill her boarder to see Winnie so they made us a call. Alice is looking very old & thin.
