I have the honor to enclose letter received this day from my Sut at Demopolois, Ala. in regard to stores belonging to that Post (now ordered discontinued).

I approve his request that these stores be turned over - it will save much trouble and expense.

There has been turned over and shipped to Garland Goode Asst Supt for the County of Monroe the following articles of clothing

One Hundred (100) Woolen Blankets
Twenty (20) Blouses
Twelve (12) C.F. Shirts
Twenty four (24) Pantaloons
Twelve (12) Knit Jackets
Ten (10) Coats, Dress
Four (4) Over Coats
Twelve (12) Caps
One Box clothing of deceased soldier.

Rations in accordance with the annexed list have been shipped to the Comsy of your Post for distribution to the Counties mentioned.

Talladega - 400 rations daily
St Clair - 300 rations daily
Calhoun - 400 rations daily

You can furnish to the County Judges of St Clair and Calhoun rations in accordance with the above estimate.  In your own County continue the issue as heretofore.

Furnish the County Judges rations in bulk for such number of days as you think proper not exceeding thirty.  Instruct them to report to you so that you can make a regular report at the end of the month on the blanks furnished.
