The parties claiming the mules on the Bragg place state that they have not yet received them.  My understanding 
was that you had decided these to belong to the Freedmen.

Will you please inform me whether you are unable to carry out your decision. If so I will send you assistance.  If it is required please send me word by the bearer of this

Make a return for 200 persons for 20 days and report it on your return for March.

Your communication of the 17th inst is received.  Parents have a right to the control of their children until they are of age.

If you were appointed a Special Agent of the Bureau there would be no emoluments attached thereto.  The Revenue law requires a five cent stamp to be attached to each sheet of paper comprising the contract.
