Justice of the Peace Lowndes Co Ala Sir; The parties claiming the mules on the Bragg place state that they have not yet received them. My understanding was that you had decided these to belong to the Freedmen. Will you please inform me whether you are unable to carry out your decision. If so I will send you assistance. If you were appointed a Special Agent of the Bureau there would be no emoluments attached thereto.
