Monies in your possession pertaining to the above Dept. you will transfer to Lt Col Edwin Beecher Chief Disbursing Officer B.R.F. & A.L.

The officers above mentioned will give you the proper receipts for all transfers thus made.

The management of the Bureau property in Selma will hereafter be under the control of Major Ogilby.

The deed conveying gratuitously to the United States Government a plot of ground in the City Cemetery as a burial place for United States Soldiers was received by General Swayne just prior to his departure for the North.

He directed me to acknowledge the receipt of the same, and to offer to yourself and through you to the City Council his grateful acknowledgements for the kind act thus performed.

I have the honor to transmit herewith the Tri Monthly Report of this Command for June 10th and with it a letter from Major Kinsman explaining the cause of the delay, up to the 13th inst.  On that date and before the Report was quite complete Maj Kinsman was obliged to start for Mobile leaving it for me to finish.

I was taken sick and until today was unable to complete it.  The Report for the 20th Ult is also forwarded herewith.
