Major I have the honor to ask what steps are necessary in making application for bounty where the party applying has lost his dischrage. In reply I have the honor to state that ifyou come up at once, I can give you a position at One Hundred Dollars per Month and a one (1) Ration for (1) One Month. Your services may be needed for a longer period but at this date I cannot say positively on that point.
