In reply to your communication asking that copies of papers in the case of Capt Groves A.Q.M. may be furnished Bvt Maj Occleston, I have the honor to state these papers were forwarded to Washington and are now there, the only paper relating to the subject in this Office being a letter from Genl. Howard stating that further action in the case was stopped at General Swayne's request.
