   I have the honor to return herewith approved the proceedings in duplicate of a board of Survey convened by Special orders No. 76 Office Asst Commr Bureau of R F and A. L. Ala, May 8, 1866 for the purpose of fixing the responsibility for Stores for which A.A. Surg. Chas E. Hood U.S.A. is responsible 
You will please transmit said proceedings to Dr. Hood.

    I have the honor to report that orders have been received at this office mustering out of service from Sept 1st Bvt Col C Cadle Jr and Bvt Maj O D Kinsman Asst Adjt General 
    I beg leave to state that the interest of the service in my judgment imperatively requires that the muster out of Major O D Kinsmann be postponed at least for the period of One Month, until a suitable officer can be found and instructed in his place.
   I would be glad to be advised by telegraph if the suspension asked for can be effected.
