Mr Lee Gunn who is or has been residing near Cusseta Ala has unlawfully in his possession a colored girl 12 to 15 years old named Silvia the daughter of Burrill Lockhardt. It is supposed that Mr Gunn may have gone to Opelika preparatory to removing to Mississippi. You will therefore proceed first to Cusseta and in case it is necessary to Opelika for the purpose of obtaining the child, and will take her whereever you may find her, reporting with her at these Head Quarters.

Very Respectfully
