Captain

Referring to my letter of yesterday relative to the employment of an additional physician at Mobile, I have the honor to state that Dr Gray on the 20th inst recommended to the Surgeon in Chief Dr W.C. Mytchell as suitable in case additional assistance was needed. You had better therefore if you have not already done so confer with Dr Gray as to the selection of a physician.

Very Respectfully,
Your obt Servant
O.D. Kinsman
Sub. Asst. Commissioner.

General

Referring to letter from this Office of the 20th inst I have the honor to ask that the revocation of the appointment of R.W.A. Wilda may date from the 24th instead of the 19th inst as requested. By a communication from the Sub. Asst. Comr. at Talladega it appeared that Mr Wilda left the service of the Bureau on the 19th inst. This however proves to be incorrect as he continued on duty until the 24th when a letter was received stating that the revocation of his appointment had been applied.

Very Respectfully,
Your Obt Servant
O.D. Kinsman
Sub. Asst. Commissioner.
"The Bvt. Maj. Genl. and Asst. Comr. being absent."

Your telegram of the 19th read as follows. "Wilda gone to Atlanta send me a Clerk at once." I anticipate being able ot send you a clerk in a few days.

Very Respectfully,
Your Obt Servant
