I have the honor to apply for the appointment of Mr P.E. O'Connor, (late 1st Lieut V.R.C. Bvt Capt USA) as Agent in the Bureau, at a salary of One Hundred Dollars ($100.) per month to date May 15, 1868.

Mr O'Connor has been identified with the Bureau since its organization in this State - is well acquainted with its operations and will make a most desirable Agent.
