Major: The assistant commissioner desires me to call your attention to the lack of discontinuance of the Hospital, and the consequent lessening of transportation needed at your station. If practicable, he desires that you discontinue the rent of the stable for which you now pay $40 per month, making other, and more economical arrangements for the accommodations of your horses. It is thought that you will not need any other transportation, and the mules you now have will probably be turned in to the Chief Quella[?] at Montgomery.
