In reply to your communication of the 9th inst. relative to transportation of Daniel Blackburn - alias Morrison (freedman) I have the honor to state that no such application appears to have been received at this office:  but an application was made about that time for one Daniel Thomason and Wife (Col'd) for transportation from Mobile, Ala. to Stokes County, N.C., which was forwarded to the Commissioner July 29th 68, since which time no reply has been received.

I would have had these printed as directed but our printer being sick it is impossible
