By Order of Bt Maj Genl Wager Swayne O D Kinsman AAG 143 B.R.F & AL 1866 Endorsement an application of Alford Damon Cold of Opelika, to have rations furnished his mother, states that she is 85 years old and unable to work Office Asst Commissioner B.R.F & AL Montgomery, Ala April 20th 1866 No Rations are, issued here except for Montgomery Co. You should apply for aid to the agent of your County. O D Kinsman AAG 144 B.R.F & AL 1866 Endorsement on statement of Bt Maj Genl J L Donaldson to the effect that damaged clothing belonging to the 9 No Dept proper should not be turned over to the Bureau except on Special Requisition approved by the Asst Commissioner. Also requests that certain condemned clothing turned over to the Bureau be recollect by the Chf QM of the Dept. O. Steinberg Asst Supt, and his attention called to that part of G.O. 138 War Dept AGO 1865, which confines the givng transportation by Asst Commissioners, within their jurisdiction.
