One bale of Hay and one Sack of Oats were shipped with the Mules and that portion of said sack of Oats and bale of Hay that was not in hand in March it would seem to me to stand charged to the receiving officer and upon a notification of the fact and the amount it will be made good. I know nothing in regard to the loss of the Halters and chains. I look to the Receiving officer to investigate that matter.
