The within is respectfully returned with report that I have sent to Fairfield Pickens County, and made every enquiry possible and all I can learn is that Mr Harrison was murdered by 8 or 10 of his slaves shortly before the surrender he had a large number of them but now they are so scattered and have so generally changed their names that it is impossible to do much at tracing them I am informed that he had a house woman by the name of Mary that was supposed to be concerned in his murder but cannot learn positively if she was the woman now inquired for or what has become of her.
