Eufaula Ala with the information desired in brief 1st Any person without regard to Color can enter 150 acres of Govt Lands in this State upon subscribing to an oath to hear two forth and allegiances to the U.S. and that the lands is entered for cultivation as a homestead and not for purpose of speculation 2nd They can be entered at the land offices at Mobile for Southern Dist Montgomery for Middle Dist Huntsville for Northern Dist. 3rd Lands cannot be purchased as all the public lands have been withdrawn from Market in this State Lands Can only be entered under the Homestead law cost of entering a homestead & 14.00 4th Pamphlets containing all information regarding the laws regulating the disposition of public lands of the U.S. can be obtained by making applications to the Commer of the US Land Office at Washington D.C.
