I have the honor to submit the following report.
The vouchers for service as witnessed before Mil. Comr. Comm referred to in the accompanying communication were transferred to me while A.A.Q.M. Selma Ala. by my predecessor Lieut. DuBois for adjustment, but not having received the necessary funds I could not pay them. Before the discontinuance of the Post and by deviation of Bvt. Brig. Genl. Saxton Chief Q M Dept of the South I forwarded the vouchers to him at Atlanta, Ga. I have no information whatever of the rent of building at Tuscaloosa Ala. none having been transferred by my predecessor Lieut DuBois.
