States that Susan Jackson wishes to ascertain where her children may be found, were sold into slavery south. probably into South Carolina. There were Three,- one sold to a slave trader in Richmond, and two to a slave dealer in Petersburgh. |

States that Armistead Smith has applied to him for transportation for his wife from Demopolis, Ala. to Charlottesville. V. A Smith & wife are old people and not able to earn money to bring her home. Recomends that transportation be furnished her through the Office of the Bureau. |
