Some time ago we sent to your address, by Express, copies of our books suitable for the schools under your care with the expressed wish that you would show them to your Superintendent of schools.

We hoped that, in thus getting them before you, they would meet your approbation and receive your official recommendation for adoption and use in the schools under your charge.

We have a special and standing arrangement with the different benevolent associations.- The American Missionary Association Penn. Freedmen's Asso. National Freedmens Asso New England Aid Society. Baptist Home Miss &c. and can furnish these books cheaper than any others. Hoping that the books will be adopted We remain Sir, Yours Very Truly
