Nigh of your command, who as so faithfully discharged his duties as Acting Asst. Supt. of Freedman's Bureau at this Post, is soon to be retired, at his own request. We would respectfully ask you to recommend as the assistant Superintendent for this county, our fellow citizen Mr. Jacob L.
