There is a great deal of U. S. stock In the vicinity of Eufaula.  the "taking up" of this, I believe, is left to the Freedmen's Bureau.
Feeling a deep interest in, and a sympathy for, the Freedmen, I have thought it my duty to inform you of the above facts. I think a [[strikethrough]] n [[/strikethrough]] Superintendent could do a great amount of good by establishing an office at Eufaula.
