Sir:
In compliance with Par. I. Genl Orders No. 14 of this Bureau I have the honor to report that:

Hereafter I shall give orders for Rations only on Wednesday Thursday and Friday of each week, at the request of Capt. Jones, Post Commissary.

The number of applications for Rations is decreasing, I think by reason of employment being offered many by Mess. Taylor Greene and Allen of this City.

I believe issuing to the aged infirm, sick, and widows, with children not old enough to support themselves, would relieve all "actual suffering" and further decrease the number of Rations issued.
