I have the honor to report that a col'd man named "John Powell", was arrested for stealing some lumber, found guilty by the Mayor of the City, and fined $54.00; then released, He was immediately arrested on a warrant of Judge Nettles, and is now confined awaiting trial before the Circuit Court sitting here; for the same [[strikethrough]] crime [[/strikethrough]] offense.
