Dear Sir_.
I write to request that you will send me Transportation for my Daughter & self, to Montgomery, I being a Refugee from that City - I am a widow Lady & my home is Montgomery, I have no great quantity of Baggage, but I am so situated that I require Transportation to return to my home, as every day I'm about I'm in expenses which I'm not able to bear- Send it to Capt. Thomson Commandant of the Post at Opelika as I will the more readily get it- Please send it without delay and much oblige-
