it thoroughly would require three thousand and we thought that amount expended in material and labor would put up a plain building that would accomodate the same number of pupils — so long as the College is occupied there will be a continual disturbance and however careful the Superintendent and Teacher may be complaints will be made and losses real or imaginary will cause an unceasing annoyance to all concerned, there is certainly an error in the representation of Dctor Nott which I explained to Genl Garrand, and called on the Doct to explain he was absent both times - I shall call on him and I think convince him of his error in regard to the loss he represents - I believe I have given you all the particulars in this matter
