The feeling expressed by Dr Nolt pervades this entire community and a building cannot be procured for any money for the purpose of establishing a colored school.

If the people here could be assured that they might retain the college for two years they would raise money enough for all necessary repairs.

I wish to be at Montgomery on the 15th inst. to attend the Planters meeting and shall come if nothing occurs to prevent it.
