There are some however I regret to say that are beaing [[being]] badley [[badly]] treated and shamefully [[strikethrough]] treated [[/strikethrough]] swindled by thous [[those]] with whom They Have contracted in this the Freedmen have assisted in makeing [[making]] the Crops and are now beaing [[being]] driven off without reciveing [[receiving]] their share of the profits.  Their intrests [[interests]] in this respect should be attended to.  I cannot close this report without expressing my thanks to Hon Judge Wiley for kindness and assistance rendered me in the discharge of my duties.  He is a Gentlemen Competent to discharge the duties of his office and willing to do all that the Law can do to bring offenders to Justice.
