Dear Sir - The Faculty of the Med. Coll of Ala have elected certain officers to be installed in the Building, for the purpose of preparing immediately for opening a course of Lectures.
Mr Branch, Superintendant of the Freedman's School, informs me that he is ready to turn over the Building, as soon as he receives an order to do so.
I hope Genl, that you will find it convenient, at an early date, to issue such an order, as will enable us to carry out our designs.
