The Negros say that they were badly treated by Messers Snow and Wood consiquently they could not stay there. The Girle Eliza had a considerable gash on her face when she first came to me. Some sine of which may be seen yet I sent to messers Snow and Wood for those Womans bedding clothing etc and they refused to send them ordering me to send them the Negros back to them. I think Sir that those Women one of them at least has been [?} cruely treated and aught to be released from their Contract
