It is the opinon of many that your assistant is disposing of the stores supplied by the Govmt for our needy here. one thing is certain that Pork Flour Beans can be found in many of the stores maked C.S and but yesterday a waggon load was seen to leave town all having the same marks while the new order quotation are 38$ pr bbl in Greenville it is selling at 30$ Your Assistant place of abode here is in a Graynery the keeper of which is the principle vendor of these goods the appearance of the packages indicate from the dirt on them their nocturnal changes, believing as I do that the the great object for which your Beaureau was established is being greatly abused that the public good intended by it is being controverted and that if persisted must bring odium on you who have ever been much esteemed for you integrity magnanimity & justness is the cause of this. (not less than 25 bbl of Pork have changed  hands with two days) [[?]] molasses Beans Flour &c &c an investigation is needed
