I have the honor to state to you that orders have to day been received from Brevt General T. C. Moore to have the 34 regiment N. J. Vol to report at Selma on the 15th of this month to be mustered out of service.
Will you please inform me in regard to my department, I shall be mustered out with the troops. is it the intention to give up the Bureau, and what shall I do with it, as it stands now I shall be under the necessity of coming with the troops of this place to Selma unless I hear from you before they start please inform me at the earliest opportunity -
