Colonel:
I have the honor to transmit herewith the application of Pleasant Reevers of Chattenooga Tenn. for Arrears of Pay and Bounty due from the United States to her son Hammond Reevers, deceased, who was a private in Co "N" 44th U.S.C. Inf and who died in Huntsville Ala on the 24th of March 1866; said application constitutes Bvt Major Wm Fowler A.A.G. Bureau R F & A L, at Washington D.C. the attorney of the applicant.
