I have the honor to transmit herewith Power of Attorney, Executed by Aley Holding widow of Anderson Holding decd late a private Co "H" 17th U.S.C.I. who died in the service June 22nd 1865, and mother of Monroe Holding decd late a private in Co "H" 15th U.S.C.I. who died in the service Aug 1st 1865, instead of one W.W. Ingersoll, a claim agent in Nashville Tenn, to prosecute her claim for arrears of pay and Bounty.
