Yours of 18th inst is before me. Mr. Lyon's case, also one in which Mr. Shepherd had an interest as purchaser, were continued. I received a long letter from My Lyon retaining my firm in the case, to fully explaining the circumstances of his purchase. He brings to light several facts which place his right to this property in a very strong light.
Thanking you Genl, for your very kindly interest in our behalf, and begging that you will at all times command me & my firm where we can serve you.
