on the Slave-trade for the want of a small amount to put an end to the trafic and the guilty parties brought to justice.

I have now positive information Col. Yarrington late of the U.S.A. now Captain of the N. B. Brown running between here by Cuba of some of the negroes that have been taken from here to Cuba. he has offered me a passage out to Cuba and back free to enable me to communicate with them and find out who kidnaped them, what vessel brought them out there.

I have a clear case against the parties who have admitted to me of sending them out. I would respectfully refer you to my Report now on file in your office. All I ask is simply enough to pay my incidental expenses and that would not be much. An answer from you at your earliest opportunity would oblige.

Your Obedient Servant.
