And again, a few days past a ration waggon broke down in 10 miles of Town. he deposited his load with gentelmen till he the waggon would go off to get his waggon mended, while he was gone 9 armed men came to the house where the rations was left, in the night time, and took a part of the load. as yet no one is able to give any information as to whome the 9 armed men was - I was told to day, that the ration house at this place was threattened to be torn down, and the rations was for every body. I should not be supprised, that if the matter goes on, that it would become quit common for waggons to be robed. this is a hard saying, but neverthe less it is nothing but the truth. I have consulted several of my neighbors to day in reation to this subject, they all concure with me in this matter. I hope to hear from you fully upon this subject, soon as your convenience can be suited, and also present me to Col W.B. Figuero of your Town -

As ever Your friend
