Major O D Kinsman Montgomery Ala, Major: I am this day in receipt of your favor notifying me of the shipment of supplies, also instructions for the issue of the same, which instructions shall be carried out to the letter when the Bacon and Corn arrives. I understand from the instructions received that the Government has nothing to do with the freight or shipment of this stuff from the distributing depots to the counties where the supplies are to be consumed.
